Client
Ruchi Gupta, MD MPH is an associate professor of pediatrics (FAAP, FAAAAI) and an interdisciplinary child health researcher. She has appointments at both the Institute for Public Health and Medicine (IPHAM) at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine (FSM) and the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago's Smith Child Health Research (SCHR) Program. Her research portfolio includes clinical diagnosis and management of childhood food allergies, chronic disease epidemiology, and community-based participatory research focused on school collaboration.

Dr. Gupta’s current research funding is through the National Institute of Health and multiple private foundations, recently supplemented by a grant for study in the realm of severe food allergies. She and her team will carry-on the interventions and systems we have developed throughout our two year partnership.
2133
Spotlight was designed by the design consultancy, 2133. We are a team of eighteen dynamic and passionate designers in the Engineering Design Innovation Master's program at Northwestern University. As a collaborative team, we strive to create human-centered solutions--in the forms of services, products, and interfaces--to everyday problems.

We use the design process to develop the optimal solutions for our clients because we know that one solution is not always best. Every design begins with need-finding, then we prototype and test. Our services are created through an iterative process, where we involve users every step of the way. We hope you enjoy our work.
